I’m an journalist, writer, and audio producer.

Past lives: producing for On Point, a national show based at WBUR, Boston’s NPR news station, and reporting about education in Tennessee for Chalkbeat.

I earned my masters in education from Harvard, where I focused on how race is portrayed in education journalism, and my B.A. in history from the University of North Carolina.

I’m committed to bringing nuance to even the shortest stories, meeting deadlines, and getting that one hard-to-get source booked.
